This Wilier 501XN Mountain Bike (XT- 2018) is no longer available although you may find similar or newer versions below:
Think of the 501XN Mountain Bike as the 101XN's little brother. Despite being the younger sibling, the 501XN MTB retains the same features and geometry, as well as the asymmetric rear triangle, oversized bottom bracket, and internal cable routing.
|Number of gears:||22|
|Steerer:||Tapered 1 1/8 - 1 1/2|
|Bottle Cage Mounts:||Double|
|Wheel Size:||29" (622)|
|Brake Type:||Hydraulic Disc Brake|
The 501XN is pieced together with a Shimano XT 2x11-speed drivetrain, Shimano XT hydraulic brakes, a Miche XM50 wheelset, and RockShox SID RL TA fork, which all fits perfectly to a cabon monocoque 46TON frame.
The strongest, most resilient carbon fibre. The name of Mitsubishi’s wonder-composite conveys its ability to withstand 46 tons of pressure per cubic millimetre. Wilier implements 46TON in the construction of their bikes for unequalled strength, stability and durability.
The drive-side chainstay has been modified to better facilitate the forces applied to it by the actuation of the drivetrain, providing enhanced stability and ultra-efficient power transfer.
Each bike is fully built, tested and tuned by Wiggle's team of qualified bike mechanics to ensure you're bike arrives in perfect condition. To find out which size fits you click on the size guide tab above.

Wilier was born in 1906 thanks to the brilliant idea of a trader from Bassano, Pietro Dal Molin, of building bicycles on his own account. His forge or "Steel horses" rose as a small workshop along the banks of the river Brenta, at Bassano del Grappa, and it became more and more successful by keeping up with the increasing demand for bicycles.
The size chart below will get you on the right size bike. Experienced riders may also wish to refer to the geometry chart for more detail.
Getting the Right Fit
At Wiggle we measure each of our bikes to build accurate size charts for our customers. Our qualified team of mechanics then individually check each order, against measurements supplied by you, to ensure the size chosen is correct. Another reason you can have complete confidence when buying a bike from Wiggle!
If you are on the change over between sizes both options will fit. Racers and experienced riders would usually select a smaller size as this offers quicker handing. A larger bike offers more stability and is more suited to new and intermediate riders.
