Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product once you get it working properly Purchased this sensor to use my road bike on a trainer to join virtual rides on Zwift. Fitting the sensors on the bike was straightforward, it worked first time. After a couple of outdoor rides I found the cadence sensor had stopped working, it had moved a few mm away from the cadence sensor on the pedal. Moving it forward resolved that issue. It has been working well since. Some fitting videos for this unit would be very helpful to beginners like me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not brilliant Struggled with this sensor, cannot seem to get the whole thing working properly, first of all it wouldn't pick up cadence, despite the sensor being at the correct position and distance from the receiver, eventually got that sorted, only to find out its not recording speed and distance. Have spent a couple of hours with the bike on a turbo using the internet videos trying minute adjustments to get the thing working properly and have now given up. It certainly isn't the attach and go unit I was expecting.

The only downside to me is the not to much detailed instructions and the lack of key to unscrew and screw the speed sensor.

Is this zwift compatible?

This is not listed as a supported app from Wahoo but Zwift claim compatibility with all ANT+ speed/cadence sensors.

is it compatible with my garmin via ant+

I see from the product name than it is both Bluetooth le and ANT+, does this mean it is compatible with my Garmin Forerunner 610 as an alternative to the Garmin cadence sensor which is ANT+ only. Thanks, Julius

As it turns out I can answer my own question as I emailed Wahoo Support. The reply was as follows: Jonathan Vejjajiva (Wahoo Fitness Support) Hello, The latest Blue SC is dual banded with ANT+ and Bluetooth smart. The latest Blue SC is compatible with the Garmin 610. Yes it works with mine very well. Probably one of the only bike speed and cadence sensors I could find that is compatible with the Suunto Ambit 3

Is this compatible with the Bontrager Node 1.1 computer

As I understand it, this sensor should be compatible with the Bontrager Node 1.1 computer, as both are ANT+. However, the sensor is not listed as one of the compatible devices for the Bontrager Node 1.1 computer on it's page on the www.thisisant.com (http://www.thisisant.com/directory/node-11). Is this because the sensor has not been put into this database yet, or because they are not compatible for some reason even though they are both ANT+? I can't seem to find the sensor on the site at all, which would suggest the former, but I would appreciate confirmation that they'll be compatible before purchasing.

I also asked Wahoo this question and they said that the sensor should be compatible with any ANT+ computer, and it probably wasn't listed on www.thisisant.com because they only added ANT+ support 2-3 months ago, so I went ahead and bought the sensor and Bontrager Node 1.1 computer and can confirm that the two work fine together.

turbo trainer

I only use strava as I dont own a garmin or speedo but last winter I used my turbo trainer lots but have no idea how many miles or speed etc ive done? Can I use this on my trainer to keep my strava profile update with my turbo training rides?

Simultaneous Ant+ and Bluetooth ?

Will this sensor transmit data simultaneously on bluetooth and Ant+ ? I want to use it to transmit speed and cadence data to both a cateye computer (bluetooth only) and a Lezyne GPS computer. The latter can use Ant+. Ta.
