The Vitus ZX-1 EVO CR eTap AXS Road Bike (Rival) is a top-level road race bike with a high-quality uni-directional carbon frameset and a SRAM Rival eTap AXS wireless electronic groupset with hydraulic disc brakes and a 10-33-tooth cassette.

The ZX-1 EVO CR eTap AXS Rival features a strong, stiff and lightweight carbon fibre frameset, and it is equipped with a SRAM Rival eTap AXS wireless electronic 12-Speed groupset. This gearset shifts through its range quickly and smoothly while its hydraulic disc brakes offer exceptional all-weather stopping power. It also rolls upon Tubeless Ready Prime Attaquer aluminium wheels wrapped in Tubeless Michelin Power tyres. And it's kitted out with a carbon Prime Primavera Aero handlebar and ZX-1 EVO Aero seatpost.

Uni-Directional Carbon Fibre Frame

The ZX-1 EVO doesn’t neglect everything for the sake of speed, since an uncomfortable rider cannot be fast and efficient. At least, not for long. Thanks to the one-piece carbon monocoque frame there are no points of weakness, no joints, so it is specifically engineered to be stiff where required and deliver comfort elsewhere, reducing harshness from the road for a more soothing ride feel. Reassuringly, there are no compromises on performance with the build. You’re getting SRAM’s latest wireless Rival eTap groupset, Prime carbon wheels and integrated carbon stem and handlebar to keep the front end sleek so nothing is left out in the wind. The result? About the Vitus brand

First emerging as a frame builder in 1970s France, Vitus Bikes played a pivotal role in pioneering the design and manufacture of lugged and bonded aluminium frames, the most iconic being the 979, groundbreaking at the time and still prized among collectors today. In 1982 we engineered and developed the 979 Carbone, one of the very first frames to take carbon fibre technology from the aerospace industry and apply it to bikes.
