Rated 5 out of 5 by from Proven protection Never skip a this rim tape! It's only two dollars! You can prevent punctures caused by spoke holes. My tip : When you attach the rim tape, press inside of the curve. Do not leave any space between the rim tape and the rim. The pressure of the tube allows the rim to move freely.

Which size tape do i need?

I have 700c wheels ( bike's a Scott Sportster). But as they are slightly chunkier tyres than a pure road bike i was wondering what size rim tape i needed. Road or ATB? I imagine it's the road tape, but thought i'd check before ordering. Ta.

Best width tape for 19mm rims?

Which of the 2 widths available is best for 700C 19mm rims running 25mm and (sometimes) 35mm tyres? Thanks.

The tyre width is irrelevant. Buy tape to fit the rims. The narrower width for road wheels, wider for MTB in most cases. As long as the tape covers the spoke holes you are ok.
