Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very light This seatpost is very light, mine weighed 197 grams for the 27.2 x 400 version which is the lightest I've ever seen for a seatpost of this length. I weigh 82kg and ride on rough city streets and have had no problems with the clamp slipping, even with the bolt at 3.2nm (0.3nm below max) and no assembly compound. Setup was also pretty straightforward, as simple as most saddle clamps at least once you read the instructions. Just make sure to use a torque wrench when tightening the bolt so you don't damage your saddle rails or have problems with slipping.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor design I like this seat post for its lightweight and simple saddle adjustment. However, there is a lot of weight on the clamp which is made out of aluminium and over a few weeks of riding on rough British roads the saddle-seat post interface has developed some burrs. I'd advise either spending more money to get a better made lightweight seat post or finding a similarly priced one from a reliable manufacturer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless... but very lightweight! I found the Seatpost design to have serious flaws. The single bolt required to 'clamp' the saddle rails was so small that it felt as though it would round off within weeks. Secondly I found that the bolt doesn't clamp the saddle rail top to bottom but appears to simply bring the three clamps (two for under the rails and one on top of the rails) closer together. Therefore no logical or progressive clamping force seems to exist in the design. I found the saddle would repeatedly move backwards over the course of a weeks commute. I tried further tightening the clamp via the tiny bolt however, with no clamping force guidance, I feared I could easily over tighten the bolt. When I'd decided to return the product I found the saddle rail clamps had ended up in such a position that it was incredibly hard to remove the saddle. I couldn't get the front clamp to rotate down the curvature of the seatpost. I understand this description sound odd but have a look at one and you'll see what I mean. I would honestly avoid at all costs and go with a Deda.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Novel design for the sake of it I needed to replace seat posts on two of my bikes whose current seat posts have too much set back, so these looked a great choice with a 10 mm set back. I didn't pay any attention to the clamping arrangement so was surprised when they arrived and saw they used a novel clamping arrangement. It may work for you but after half an hour, broken nails and cut fingers, (whilst following the instructions) I couldn't get the clamp to fit my saddles (standard, nothing special). They may work for you, but be prepared that you may need to return them. I can now see why they were being discounted. I will read reviews first next time.
