These brilliant brakes are specifically designed for MTB use as they give you powerful and reliable stopping power on every run. They feature an aluminium lever construction which makes them perfect for handling the knocks that come with riding off-road.
|Brake Type:||Hydraulic Disc Brake|
Ready for adventure, these tough components are engineered for aggressive rides across mixed terrain surfaces. This is the result of the work between TRP and World Cup champion Aaron Gwin to create a top-level disc brake that's been tested on the World Cup circuit throughout the season. Its lever has been dimpled and drilled out which give you extra grip as well as reducing any unnecessary grams for the ultimate strength to weight ratio.
Whether you're riding after work with your buddies or competing in an all-day epic, this stunning model is kitted out with all the adjustments you need for success. Giving you versatility, its tool-free indexed reach adjust allows you to set the distance between the lever and handlebars to suit your hand-size and the terrain conditions. This means you'll benefit from a more rider-tuned braking experience, so the lever feels like a natural extension of your body.
This brake also features a forged and CNC-machined caliper with four hybrid pistons. The pistons use a combination of composite and stainless steel construction for improved heat dissipation. TRP has also taken this version's heat resistance a step further by equipping its caliper with cooling fins for preserving its longevity as you conquer every ride.
TRP was founded on the idea of building the highest quality braking systems available in the bicycle industry. TRP Brakes are designed for superior levels of performance and durability achieved through the use of advanced production techniques, accurate processing and meticulous quality control. By using exotic materials such as Carbon Fibre, Titanium and TT6 Aluminum, TRP brakes set a new industry standard for lightweight and precise control. TRP brakes are extensively tested for reliability and safety on and off-road, and in the laboratory - by a company with more than 20 years experience designing and manufacturing bicycle brake systems.
