Suitable for my front mech?

I was looking at another chain catcher on Wiggle (K-Edge Chain Catcher), which was described as being for a brazed-on front mech. This one doesn't say. My front mech is secured by a clamp round the seat tube that I think simulates the brazed-on attachment. Can I be sure that this chain catcher is compatible?

If your mech is secured to the band by a single forward facing bolt then this device will almost certainly fit; my mech is the same as the frame is carbon. Have a look at the piccie. It'll be obvious if it'll fit without opening the packet so you can just send it back if it doesn't.

How does one fit this? I have heard that fitting can interfere with the alignment of the front mech? Many thanks in advance

A braze on front derailleur is usually attached to the frame with a single bolt. The Chain drop catcher is supplied with a longer replacement bolt. You simply take the new bolt, add the catcher, then place the bolt through the braze on adaptor on the frame, then thread into the derailleur and tighten to the specified torque, there is some play to pivot the catcher near the chain when its on the small ring so it prevents the chain from jumping off, but not so close that it makes noise on the chain. It shouldn't interfere with adjusting your front mech, the bend allows for proper movement of the derailleur

Does this work with a triple?

I originally bought this for the same purpose, I have a ultegra 6703 triple crank, 30/39/53. I used the braze on derailler with a band on adaptor. With the derailler height set so it just clears the largest gear, the tk375 just barely reached down to the small gear. With the chain on the smallest ring, there's just a couple millimeters overlap, I think its enough imo. I'm not sure a band on catcher would work either as it has to mount just under the derailler and since you have a triple, the derailler has to mover inwards quite a bit and they hit each other.

What quality is the bolt made to?

I have read reviews about it stripping when tightened to the correct torque. Should I be concerned? If it is a question of length then this is to fit a standard 105 front mech (2013 spec)

The bolt is a 7075 Alloy type so it should be quite difficult to make it show any sign of thread stripping or severe wear if tightened to the correct torque settings. It's worth checking the head of any Allen keys used to ensure they are not worn, causing any wear in the bolt head itself during tightening.
