Is the 12sp Road the "flat top" version?

From the pictures it isn't clear... is the "12 speed road" option the new AXS "flat top" version? Also, do they still come as individual half links, or do they come as pairs?

That's correct the 12 speed road powerlock will indeed be the flatop link for AXS groupsets.

How many pairs of these can you run on a chain before you replace the chain?

I don't see why any number is too many - after all, if your chain goes it only needs one link to fail (but these don't in my experience). I use 3 quite close togehter on a singlepseed bike to allow a half link, plus shortening & lengthening the chain for different gearing depending where I ride. That's my winter bike & had no problems at all. If your chain is failing at several points, you may need to replace anyway (or look at why it's hapening)

Is this compatible with Campagnolo 12 speed chains?

Can this be used as a quick link for a Super Record 12sp chain?

I doubt it. 9, 10, 11 and 12 speed chains are all different widths. If it says it is for 12 speed then you should be fine. Sometimes the link can stick out a bit at the ends even when properly pulled tight, depending on the make of chain, as the total outer link lengths may vary, but I have not found this to affect shifting.

What connector for a Sram Pc7X Chain?

Managed to loose the paperclip looking part from a Sram 3 piece connector for a PC7X singlespeed chain. Any ideas whether I can get a new 3 piece connector or will a power link fit?

We do not stock replacement pins for the PC7X chain and I do not think the powerlinks will work.

What does the LETTER and NUMBER mean?

One side says SRAM 11S. I'm fine with that. On the other side mine says F8. The ones in the pictures here say A3. What's the difference/what does this stand for? Thank You, Alex

11s 10s 9s is the speed system the link is compatible with the A3, A1 numbers etc is part of the Product Model ID from SRAM so a 9speed link may be CN-PLNK-9SPD-A1.

Yes, this will work on a 12-speed MTB chain - providing you have the 12-speed Quicklink. I suspect 11-speed quicklinks will also work on 12-speed, but it won't run as smooth in operation.

Yes as long as you have a SRAM 11spd power link it will work with any SRAM 11spd chain.

Sram power lock

My original 12v chain has a powerlock with 228 stamped on the left of Eagle. My query is ,what does this relate to. I notice there are various numbers on othe Sram powerlocks like 445. Can I use one with a different number to my original. Any advice welcome, thanks. M
