The Genius 10 Road Shoes deliver the performance you need to hit your training numbers, power out of corners with immediate response during a criterium race and to conquer the toughest of mountain passes.
It begins with the perfectly formed upper. This is moulded from a tough and durable material, designed to take on the rigours of daily training and weekend racing while still being supple enough for immediate comfort out of the box. A water-repellent finish lets you ride comfortably when weather conditions take a turn for the worse and it's eco-friendly too. A stiff reinforced heel cup then keeps your foot firmly in place as you apply pressure to the pedals. No matter how hard you're pedalling or for how long you're in the saddle foot stability is optimised.
Getting the right fit is also essential to road riding performance and here you'll find the Soft Instep Closure 4 system and Techno 3 dials create the perfect combination to get it just right. The Instep Closure 4 system features a wide, EVA thermo-formed padded strap which spreads pressure evenly over the instep for optimal comfort levels. Adjustment is then available on both sides of the foot to guarantee you can effortlessly dial in comfort and foot-hold to precisely how you like it, even on the trail. Meanwhile, the lower dial allows for precise adjustment across the toe box for the perfect fit every time you ride. No fuss. Just twist and go.
Carbon Composite 20 Sole
Balancing stiffness for pedalling efficiency and dialled flex for long-ride comfort, the Carbon Composite 20 Sole is ideal for the aspiring racer and speedy sportive and Gran Fondo rider. Nylon is injected with carbon fibre to ensure rigidity while weight is kept to a minimum. The carbon fibres also ensure there's no degradation to the stiffness rating over time - these high-performance road shoes are built to last. That long-term durability is also evident in the replaceable heel-cup - once it's worn out it's simple to replace, thus prolonging your shoe's lifespan.
Cleat Guidance
These Road Shoes are compatible with road bike pedal systems that use cleats with 3-bolt standards, such as: Look Delta and Keo, Shimano SPD-SL, Speedplay Light Action, Zero, X-Series (via 3-hole adapter plate), Campagnolo Pro-Fit, Mavic Zxellium, Time Iclic/Xpresso and Time Impact.
