The Shimano XC7 (XC701) Carbon MTB SPD Shoes won’t just get you there, they will ensure you arrive quickly and in style. They are jam-packed with technology that rivals can only dream of and the ultra-rigid, lightweight carbon fibre reinforced midsole promises to deliver all of your raw power directly to the pedals. Helping you shred loam aggressively; your cadence becomes naturally explosive and boosts your chances of nailing that daring kicker.
There is a supple high-density synthetic leather that improves comfort and breathability thanks to the perforated design and ventilation is maximised around the foot to eliminate sweat and odours. Securing your fitting perfectly is the adjustable powerzone wire guide while an exclusive partnership with MICHELIN® delivers intense traction and a mud-shedding tread pattern on the outer.
Making it easier than ever to negotiate tricky terrain, the dual-density rubber compounds absolutely nail the perfect balance of grip, durability and flexibility, working in partnership with the reinforced spike mount to excel in difficult conditions. Gripping on or off the saddle, you can hop off the bike in order to gain the best viewing points the mountain has to offer. If that wasn’t enough, there is also a dual independent Boa® L6 dial that allows quick, micro tension adjustments on the fly.
Keeping all eyes on the clock, Shimano has included their DYNALAST technology to help reduce braking loss, therefore saving you crucial seconds in the hunt for glory. The toe-spring section of the shoe supports efficient pedalling and the DYNALAST works tirelessly to reduce energy loss on long rides, keeping some back for that vital sprint finish.
