Carbon Sole
Once on the bike, the stiff carbon sole of the TR9s comes into its own. Rated 10 out of 12 on Shimano's stiffness rating system, it provides the ideal balance of instantaneous power transfer with just enough give for long-distance comfort. With an extended range of cleat adjustment, you'll also find it easy to get your bike fit just right to optimise power transfer.
Dynalast Dynamics
The upper of the TR9 shoes benefit from Shimano's Dynalast engineering. This sees the supple upper wrap the foot comfortably to give a brilliantly stable pedalling platform. This upper, in conjunction with an external heel cup, delivers incredible foot stability, minimises rolling and twisting of the foot and an optimized toe-spring section that ensures the most efficient and powerful pedal stroke possible. You'll also be pleased to find the upper is very breathable and quick-drying too, so you can concentrate on pushing watts and not damp feet.
Cleat Guidance
