Selle San Marco designed its Aspide FX Carbon Full-Fit Saddle for the most discerning of cyclists. It combines high performance with lasting comfort, yet still manages to keep the weight down thanks to its carbon rails.
The “Full Fit” name relates to the Aspide FX Carbon’s innovative channel, which provides central relief to reduce pressure on sensitive parts and helps the rider’s weight to be spread across the saddle.
Pushing the comfort level even further is Selle San Marco’s “BioFlex” padding, which follows the natural movement of the pelvis. This encourages an unrestricted pedalling motion for more efficient pedalling and lasting comfort. This padding also has a closed surface to prevent any water ingress.
Backing up the saddles advanced shaping and padding is an anti-slip “Microfeel” cover. This means you’ll be able to better maintain your riding position when you’re getting low for a sprint, powering up a climb or diving into a bend.
Biofoam Padding: A Biodynamic structure that follows the movements of the pelvis during pedalling, guarantees comfort, reduced weight, lasting resistance and ideal support. The “closed cells” surface assures the water repellence of the padding.
Microfeel Cover: This breathable and hardwearing cover is lighter than traditional materials and less deformable, providing an Anti-skid effect with an extraordinary grip on the saddle.
DNA Carbon Rails: The crossing X shape knot (Dynamic Node Action) enables increased rigidity of the rail. This also contains the weight and prevents spin and torsion without compromising the comfort. Longer carbon rails provide greater adjustment of the saddle.
Carbon Fibre Reinforced Shell: Nylon enriched with a high proportion of long carbon fibre reinforces the characteristics of rigidity, stiffness and durability without compromising the weight.
