The Scarpa Mescalito Shoes boast a high performing design that is ideal for long approaches and technical scrambling.
Scarpa's Mescalito Shoes are built around the new Vibram Dynamis sole unit that uses Lite Base technology, which significantly reduces the weight of the shoe. This is combined with a bi-density EVA midsole that provides expert cushioning, especially compared to more traditional approach shoes, ensuring a supportive, comfortable stride. Plus, the Vibram Megagrip lends maximum grip and traction on a variety of surfaces, including smooth terrain.
The upper of the Mescalito is also constructed from a thermo-embossed suede, offering an individual fit without too much stretch. Additionally, a new lightweight, lateral PU rand shields the shoe from scuffs and scrapes, and a rubber toe cap offers grip as well as protection. This lace-to-toe design combined with the stretch fit tongue guarantees the best possible foot hold.
