What's changed?

The Government has recognised that getting more people cycling is the best way to improve the UK's health, wellbeing and productivity, and this update shows their confidence in and commitment to the scheme. Cyclescheme have made three key changes to the policy as a result of this;
  1. 1. Employers can now use Cyclescheme's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) authorisation to offer their employees cycling gear of any value.
  2. 2. Advice on allowable cycle accessories, clothing and components has been broadened to encompass everything a rider needs to commute by bike.
  3. 3. Employees can no longer add funds (or 'top up') – whilst previously allowable, this is now prohibited in all circumstances.
