Combining a DebonAir air spring, an R damper and Maxima Plush damping fluid, the RockShox Super Deluxe Select R Rear Shock is prepared for fast paced mountain bike (MTB) trail-riding adventures.
This MTB rear shock features a lightweight DebonAir air spring that's highly tune-able and is designed to offer a coil-like consistent feel throughout its travel. As a result, it effortlessly soaks up even the smallest of knocks and bumps, while tracking the slightest changes in the terrain. RockShox has also kitted out this trail-ready model with a high-quality R damper and external rebound adjustment, so you can set it up to perfectly match your riding style as well as the trail conditions. With updated graphics that give it the look and feel that you expect from the Super Deluxe family of shocks in a straightforward package, it's also now equipped with Maxima Plush fluid that reduces friction and silences damper noise.

RockShox was one of the first producers of bicycle suspension forks and have now become the world leader in the design and manufacturing of high performance suspension products for the bicycle industry. In 1989 RockShox Inc. was founded by Paul Turner and Steve Simons. Rock Shox launched with 10 front suspension forks and three rear shocks, with the brand names such as Boxxer, Deluxe, Indy, Jett, Judy, Mag, Quadra, Ruby and SID. RockShox’s founder Paul Turner, raced motorcycles in his teen years during the 1970s and went on to found an aftermarket engine parts company in 1977 at the age of 18. Turner then went to work for Honda Motor Company, as their factory motocross team mechanic, an opportunity which provided Turner with experience working with the top racers in the field, as well as suspension designers and other motocross industry leaders. In Febuary 2002, RockShox was acquired by industry leader SRAM who hope to take the brand onto another level.
