The Lyric RCT3 DebonAir Forks with boost spacing is based on the popular Pike model but offer longer travel, 35mm stanchions and an asymmetric casing to reduce the weight. Lyric RCT3's are super responsive and offer ultra-smooth performance.
Building on the technologies and features of the popular Pike model, the Lyric RCT3’s is built to offer incredible stiffness-to-weight ratio. On top of the revised casing and larger stanchions, they also feature the larger torque cap dropouts and boost spacing. This ensures you’ll enjoy a stiff front end for consistent control no how hard you ride and clearance for up to 2.8” wide tyres.
This particular model also features RockShox’s DebonAir air spring for increased small bump sensitivity and a reduced force required to activate the first 1/3 of the fork’s travel. In addition to this, the Charger 2 damper enables you to finely adjust how the fork reacts, so you can adjust it to suit the trail conditions and your riding style. The “firm” setting has been re-tuned to ensure an excellent match with RockShox’s Deluxe, Super Deluxe and Super Deluxe Coil rear shocks. Also, if you want control of the fork's compression settings on when riding, they're compatible RockShox's separately sold OneLoc remote.
RockShox was one of the first producers of bicycle suspension forks and have now become the world leader in the design and manufacturing of high performance suspension products for the bicycle industry. In 1989 RockShox Inc. was founded by Paul Turner and Steve Simons. Rock Shox launched with 10 front suspension forks and three rear shocks, with the brand names such as Boxxer, Deluxe, Indy, Jett, Judy, Mag, Quadra, Ruby and SID. RockShox’s founder Paul Turner, raced motorcycles in his teen years during the 1970s and went on to found an aftermarket engine parts company in 1977 at the age of 18. Turner then went to work for Honda Motor Company, as their factory motocross team mechanic, an opportunity which provided Turner with experience working with the top racers in the field, as well as suspension designers and other motocross industry leaders. In Febuary 2002, RockShox was acquired by industry leader SRAM who hope to take the brand onto another level.
