With 35mm straight wall aluminium tubes, a DebonAir spring and Motion Control damping, the RockShox 35 Gold RL Boost Forks offer smooth and consistent front-end suspension for your Boost-spaced mountain bike.
|Fork Material:||Aluminium Alloy|
These trail-ready mountain bike (MTB) forks feature a hard-wearing 35mm straight wall aluminium upper tube construction, which allows them to handle all the abuse that's associated with long days in the mountains. Their burly 35mm chassis delivers added stiffness and steering precision, so you can tackle every climb and descent with confidence. RockShox has also equipped this Boost-spaced model with the proven Motion Control damper, which features low-speed compression adjust to lockout with external rebound adjust. This makes it easy to dial in your riding preferences and benefit from smoother and more controlled off-road performance. Coming complete with a highly-tuneable DebonAir spring, this version offers a coil-like consistent feel through the travel.
DebonAir: A lightweight, highly tune-able air spring designed to offer a coil-like consistent feel through the travel - effortlessly soaking up the smallest hits and tracking the slightest changes in the terrain.
Boost: Boost is the standard wheel and drivetrain specification that opens the opportunity for improved frame geometry with shorter chain stays, wider and stiffer suspension pivots, wider range of chainring options, as well as more clearance for bigger tyres and wider, stiffer wheels.
Torque Cap Compatible: For a stronger, stiffer interface between fork and hub, giving you more control in the front wheel.
Accepts Bottomless Tokens: To easily custom tune the air-spring performance to best match you own riding style and suspension preference.
RockShox was one of the first producers of bicycle suspension forks and have now become the world leader in the design and manufacturing of high performance suspension products for the bicycle industry. In 1989 RockShox Inc. was founded by Paul Turner and Steve Simons. Rock Shox launched with 10 front suspension forks and three rear shocks, with the brand names such as Boxxer, Deluxe, Indy, Jett, Judy, Mag, Quadra, Ruby and SID. RockShox’s founder Paul Turner, raced motorcycles in his teen years during the 1970s and went on to found an aftermarket engine parts company in 1977 at the age of 18. Turner then went to work for Honda Motor Company, as their factory motocross team mechanic, an opportunity which provided Turner with experience working with the top racers in the field, as well as suspension designers and other motocross industry leaders. In Febuary 2002, RockShox was acquired by industry leader SRAM who hope to take the brand onto another level.
