RockShox's 30 Gold RL Solo Air Forks are designed to offer you super-smooth suspension performance, are easy to adjust and setup and offer all this at a wallet-friendly price.
By adopting some of the features and technologies from RockShox’s higher-end models, these forks will smooth out the roughest sections of the trails. Some of the stand-out features include the 30mm stanchions “Fast Black” coating, which helps the seals move more smoothly during the travel to help you carry your speed and stay in control. In addition to this RockShox’s Motion Control™ damper, you’ll enjoy optimum performance for descending or climbing.
The ideal first upgrade, the 30 Gold RL forks come with standard QR dropouts. This means they’re ready to enhance the performance of older bikes or more basic models that use QR wheels. They’re also very lightweight, provide all the adjustments you need to tune them to your preference and have a revised and updated pressure guide to optimize their performance on the latest E-bikes.
Motion Control™: Imagine riding on the moon. Rolling hills, crushed rock blasted out of craters… craters. There’s no gravity so you wouldn’t even need a chairlift. Unfortunately, you can’t ride on the moon. There’s lots of gnarly terrain on earth. But, earth has gravity so you’ll need suspension that climbs as well as it descends. With RockShox Motion Control damper technology you’ll do just that.
Power Bulge™: When you need your forearms to be stronger for more control, you bulk them up in the gym. When you need more durability from your fork, bulk them up with our Power Bulge. Other companies just increase the stanchion size adding extra weight. Power Bulge simply reinforces the lower leg to allow for an oversized bushing, increasing stiffness and maximizing your ride.
Solo Air™: Solo Air is like a Buddhist monk. Its enlightened design lets you add air to your forks through a single Schrader valve, filling both the positive and negative air spring chambers simultaneously. So they’re always in perfect equilibrium, like Yin and Yang. Giving you a plush, predictable ride you can set up in seconds, with the lightest weight air spring on the market.
RockShox was one of the first producers of bicycle suspension forks and have now become the world leader in the design and manufacturing of high performance suspension products for the bicycle industry. In 1989 RockShox Inc. was founded by Paul Turner and Steve Simons. Rock Shox launched with 10 front suspension forks and three rear shocks, with the brand names such as Boxxer, Deluxe, Indy, Jett, Judy, Mag, Quadra, Ruby and SID. RockShox’s founder Paul Turner, raced motorcycles in his teen years during the 1970s and went on to found an aftermarket engine parts company in 1977 at the age of 18. Turner then went to work for Honda Motor Company, as their factory motocross team mechanic, an opportunity which provided Turner with experience working with the top racers in the field, as well as suspension designers and other motocross industry leaders. In Febuary 2002, RockShox was acquired by industry leader SRAM who hope to take the brand onto another level.
