This multi-purpose saddle is available in two different width options. The 153mm version is designed for sportive use while the 163mm option is for trekking, leisure and commuting. Thanks to its short length of 255mm, the contact points and pressure peaks in the sit-bone area are reduced for a more comfortable ride. Coming complete with some of the finest technologies available from PROLOGO, this is a great choice of upgrade for wherever your next adventure takes you.
This model is equipped with a Multi Section System (MSS) seating system that was designed in co-operation with the Polytechnic of Milan to offer improved comfort and performance. Its active foam is separated to create five comfort zones working in a smart and individual way that favours the natural movement of the pedalling phases both of pushing and pulling. This also allows it to absorb the vibrations that the base transfers to the saddle. The semi-round shape of the W400 provides natural pelvis rotation, creating stability and support for your lumbar areas, and the distribution of the pressures on a greater surface.
Technologies:
Active Base System: A hollowed shell that lets you take advantage of all the benefits of a Perineal Channel, more blood flow and air cooling, offering the same protection against water and mud during critical weather conditions.
Updated Foams: The softer and padded foams used on the W400 guarantee a high level of comfort allowing the cyclist to spend long rides sitting in the saddle (1cm thickness for the 153 version; 1.7cm thickness for the 163mm).
Multi-Sector System (MSS): Different areas for high-level comfort. The Multi-Sector System provides different individual zones mapped and separated along the saddle, each composed of different interactive foams and single-cell padding. These areas work independently adapting to all the positions that cyclists can take.
Rear Handle and Reflective Graphics: The saddle is equipped with a rear "handle" to facilitate the movement of the bicycle as well as reflective graphics to improve safety.
Optimised Nose: Wider and inclined downwards.
