The Prime Women’s Endurance Saddle is designed to offer extended comfort for high mileage events, such as sportives and cycle touring. The profile is optimised for a more relaxed cycling position in which the lower back follows a gentler curve as you reach the handlebars. In this position, the pelvis may tilt forward slightly to reduce the curve in the spine.
The profile is convex with a deep channel and cut out zone. This alleviates central pressure and distributes support to the sit bones for sustainable comfort over long distances. The 141mm width has been tailored to accommodate the spacing of the sit bones with sufficient area to distribute pressure and offer comfort and stability.
The wings of the saddle are curved to accommodate the inner thigh during the pedal stroke and to provide support in the corners. The CR-MO rails feature measurement markers. These help you adjust the fore/aft position of your saddle accurately to achieve an efficient and ergonomic pedalling motion.
Beneath the waterproof microfibre cover is a layer of high-density EVA foam padding to distribute pressure further and help absorb vibration from the road. The nylon fibre base offers a calibrated level of flex to provide the optimum blend of support and shock absorption.
