Park Tool Universal Head Cup Remover is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Jonney from Perfect tool for the job I had been using various punches and drifts to remove both headset and bottom bracket bearings all with varying degrees of success until I finally bought this tool. It makes a world of difference, so easy to use and drift out bearings its a no brainier. Put of initially because of the cost I wish I had bought one of these years ago. The usual high quality of Park Tool should see this tool lasting for years of good use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Potiriadis from Life saver for a stubborn PF30 BB So I tried the standard recommended Park Tool for PF30 removal, which incidentally is their BB30 removal tool. When I used on my PF30 Cannondale, no issues. When I used in on a friend's Boardman, it popped out the bearings and left the cups in place. With this tool, with a wedge to keep the prongs aligned, a few hammer taps, using Park Tool's excellent work shop hammer, and job done no muss, no fuss. Don't bodge your BB removal, right tools for the job every time. How you one thing is how you do everything.

Is this really universal?

I thought Park did an RT1 & RT2 for different sizes, does this really work from 1" to 1.1/2"?
Asked by: sib321
You are totally correct. This RT1 does 1" / 1 1/8" and 1 1/4" the RT2 does 1 1/4" and 1 1/2". This was but is no longer universal. Product description will be updated soon.

Can this be used to remove a Shimano (24mm) press fit bottom bracket?

Can this be used to remove a Shimano (24mm) press fit bottom bracket?
Asked by: BigMadDavey
The main part of the shaft of this tool is >25mm, making it unsuitable for Shimano Press Fit bottom bracket (bb86, BB92, etc.) removal.

BB30

Will this tool remove BB30 bearings?
Asked by: JJonesy
Yes, but it will damage the seals on the internal-facing bearings so they won't be suitable for re-use. This would only be best used to knock out old bearings that are being replaced.
