Preload increases total body water and plasma volume, provides a buffer for lactic acid, and increases the cofactors needed for aerobic metabolism. This allows athletes to optimise their performance in hot conditions and during high intensity activity. For best results, osmo recommend drinking Preload the night before and the morning of an intense effort.

There are four primary things that Osmo Preload does to improve performance:

First, Osmo Preload increases blood plasma volume, which in turn increases heart-stroke volume, as well as the total volume of blood circulating. This increased circulation allowing your blood to go both to the working muscles AND to the surface to dissipate heat. Third, Osmo Preload stops cramping by increasing total body sodium stores, eliminating the need to take on additional sodium during long-duration events.
