The Onza Svelt MTB Tyre was designed to have some of the lowest rolling resistance possible. The flat centre profile provides this rolling rapidly on the straights, descents and flats whilst the pronounced shoulder provides extreme grip in loose and wet terrain at high speeds. This allows you to ride aggressively all day long, rain or sun making the Onza Svelt MTB Tyre a jack of all trades for Cross-country and Marathon riders.
The Onza Svelt MTB Tyre features a 120TPI Cross-country casing for even less weight and faster rolling. This is built with a combination of two different compounds. On the inside, 65a for low rolling resistance and a long fruitful life and on the outside 55a for perfect cornering grip in all conditions. And as always the Onza Svelt MTB Tyre is tubeless ready and features a special bead technology for quick and tight air sealing of tyre and rim.
Onza started life in the late 1980s, inventing and developing handlebar bar ends, and the name soon became synonymous with cutting edge mountain bike parts and components. About a decade later, Onza was bought by Nottingham-based Super Cycles group and the Onza Trials range was born. The first Onza trials bikes hit the streets in 1999 and their reputation for quality and performance has grown steadily ever since.
