All set for soaring downhill with speed and stability, this 290 model by Nukeproof has racing in its DNA. A simplified design which reduces weight and enhances the front triangle stiffness and a more progressive leverage rate for increased mid-stroke-support, lets the bike pump more efficiently, sit higher in the travel and improve stability in corners to give you the most exciting downhill experience possible.
In a move away from the Fallout Linkage of its predecessors, the Dissent's rocker link is now positioned on the outside of the seat tube, rather than tucked inside a clamshell as before. This minimises the frame weight while maximising the front triangle stiffness at the same time.
The suspension platform now uses a push, rather than a pull link, helping to reduce the loads and stresses on the frame, saving further weight and improving durability. The result of this is a frame which weighs over 400g lighter than the Pulse. The Main pivot flip chips are fast and simple to change and offer a tailored factory set up for every rider. Further custom tuning can be done via the new three-position adjustable chainstay which features interchangeable dropout inserts. The chainstay flip chips allow you to alter the wheelbase by 5-10mm depending on the type of track you’re riding, your height or riding style.
This version of the Dissent combines superb frame adaptability with a custom hydroformed 6061 aluminium tubeset, a 63-degree head angle for fearless riding and a huge 200mm of travel via the new Dissent platform make this bike ideal for the gravity-defying rider. The centrally-positioned shock and linkage system provides unrivalled handling while other features include a true 1.5” head tube, ISCG 05 mounts and a 157mm x 12mm rear axle to keep your rear end in check.
Kitted out with a RockShox Boxxer Select R fork and a RockShox Super Deluxe Coil Select R shock, no route is off-limits for this fantastic full suspension MTB. Balanced upon on a pair of Sun-Ringle Duroc SD37 Comp 29" wheels and Maxxis Assegai tyres, the bike propels you through every run with a swift-shifting SRAM GX DH 7-Speed drivetrain.
SRAM Guide RE brakes add consummate control as you weave your way downhill, making this nippy Nukeproof a superior option for the serious DH rider.

Getting the Right Fit
At Wiggle we measure each of our bikes to build accurate size charts for our customers. Our qualified team of mechanics then individually check each order, against measurements supplied by you, to ensure the size chosen is correct. Another reason you can have complete confidence when buying a bike from Wiggle!
If you are on the change over between sizes both options will fit. Racers and experienced riders would usually select a smaller size as this offers quicker handing. A larger bike offers more stability and is more suited to new and intermediate riders.
