Speed Demon Stiffness
When you're at your threshold on a rooty climb, speeding along a muddy trail and accelerating out of high-speed berms, the Carbon XC 12 Sole of the Rebel MTB cycling shoes, with a stiffness rating of 12 out of 15, ensures no power is wasted in propelling you forward. Durable TPU inserts across the sole provide traction when you're off the bike and running while thermo-welded TPU reinforcements on the upper prevent bashes and bruises when you hit hidden rocks and stumps.
The upper of the Rebel shoes is of Northwave's BioMap unibody design. This unique construction wraps around the foot in the anatomically correct shape, eliminating pressure points while holding the foot snugly to ensure a smooth and stable pedal stroke. The twin SLW2 dial system allows quick and precise fit adjustment, allowing independent control of the fit over the upper and lower foot. Then at the end of a ride or race, a single button release makes it easy to kick off your shoes. Quick. Simple, Durable. Precise.
The Rebel MTB shoes are a hard-riding XC mountain bikers dream. Stiff and responsive, they'll ensure every watt is delivered to the pedals whether that's on race day or enjoying some fast riding on a cross country loop.
These MTB shoes are compatible with MTB pedal systems, which use cleats with SPD standard (2-bolt standard), e.g.: Shimano SPD, Time ATAC, CrankBrothers, CrankBrothers Race, Look MTB, Xtreme MTB, Wellgo MTB, Ritchey MTB. Also suitable for indoor trainers in gyms etc.
