Equipped with some of the greatest suspension components on the market, a RockShox Yari RC 160mm on the front and a Fox Float DPX2 EVOL 150mm on the rear, bolted to a responsive, lightweight and ultra-sleek carbon frame. This bike features Niner's [R]Evolution geometry to get the most out of the larger 29" wheel standard and enhances the agile and responsive nature of the bikes handling characteristics. The RIP 9 is fitted with a 12-Speed SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain, complete with a 7K carbon SRAM Descendant crankset for guaranteed shifting precision and ultimate chain stability. This gear transmission compliments this hard-hitting bike perfectly, the Eagle system will always function with confidence-inspiring mechanical accuracy regardless of how intense your chosen line down the mountain is.
To ensure control when descending and to benefit the greatest stability when tackling technical trail sections, this bike is fitted with the superb SRAM Guide R hydraulic disc brakes. When the trail gets tough and demanding, there is nothing better than having the predictable and powerful braking performance that the Guide R's provide. Niner alloy wheels enhance climbing and descending thanks to their flex-free stability, increasing power-transfer and torque on the steep climbs and boosting stability when descending.
