A highly versatile jersey designed to cope with a broad range of conditions the Thermoactive jersey is the perfect addition to any cyclists Autumn, Winter and Spring kitbag.
Designed to be the cornerstone of a cyclists 'layering' system Morvelo's ThermoActive jerseys can be worn in a wide range of situations and to suit prevalling weather conditions;
By themselves when it is cool
With a base layer and/or gilet when it's cold
Under a waterproof when it's cold and wet
Used with a base layer and under a jacket if it's freezing.
The closed cuffs and close-fit arms work like arm warmers to keep out the cold and keep the warmth next to the skin. The high collar keeps out the wind and is contoured so it sits high at the front and lower at the back to ensure the jersey fits closely across the shoulders. A zip garage stops the rubbing of the zip when fully closed and the full length zip guard blocks any wind. Should you feel too warm then simply expel warm air via the full length front zipper.
The fit is slim but by utilising stretch fabrics Morvelo's designers have created a form fit without being restrictive. This also allows for layering underneath and for the use of outer shell layers in wetter conditions. From a practical view point the 3 rear pockets and extra zipped pocket allows for plenty of storage ready for those long winter miles.
Morvelo design and produce an increasingly diverse range of bicycle apparel from t-shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts to cycling jerseys, shorts and caps and even the gaps in between with their technical cycling tees. They philosophy is to combine bike culture with pop culture. To explore themes that run through the cycling world and combine them with the wider influence of art, music, fashion and film. Great looking and distinctive clothing is one thing but the bike world is also naturally full of bikes and riding. This is why they also conceive and organise cycling events like the much lauded Brighton Big Dog and instant hit Spin Up In A Brewery and collaborate with other iconic brands such as The Tour de France, Look Mum No Hands, Dark Star Brew Co, Alpkit, The Bicycle Academy and Reynolds Wheels amongst others. The Morvelo philosophy isn't constrained by clothing. It's a mindset that encourages diversity, exploration, challenges and a desire to thrash the hell out of two wheels.
