Standing up to wind, rain and intense outdoor activity, the Ether DriClime Hoody handles the challenge of the trail.
With DriClime® technology, the Ether DriClime Hoody is engineered for active performance, wicking away unwanted sweat and moisture as you tackle intense outdoor pursuits, keeping you fresh and comfortable without overheating. Wind-resistant and water-repellent, the softshell design protects from harsh winter weather.
For ventilation, Marmot have included strategically placed underarm vents to improve airflow, keeping you cool when the adventure picks up and with zippered pockets, you can store all the essentials for a day on the trails.
Packing into its own pocket, the jacket won't take up space in your pack, meaning you won't compromise on other important bits of kit and with 360degree reflectivity, you'll be out on the trails late in the winter evenings.
April 1971, University of California, two students were on a field trip at an Alaskan ice field and had the idea of a fraternity club named the Marmots; a small squirrel that lives in mountainous areas. In this club, they began making prototypes of down parkas, vests and sleeping bags in their dorm rooms, aiming to one day create something that could be retailed. In 1974, they opened a small shop in Wyoming, selling these products, teaching cross country skiing to get by and thus Marmot was born. In 1976, a chance meeting with the head of W.L Gore & Associates (now known as Gore Tex) occurred, with Marmot trialing Gore Tex fabrics in their products by sleeping in commercial meat freezers and comparing them with each other. The guys liked what they saw and immediately put the fabrics into their product. To this day, Marmot is the oldest Gore Tex customer. Since the 70s, Marmot has changed dramatically, but the one goal has never changed and that is designing the highest quality performance product.
