Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wheel Truing Stand Set up the stand in the bike shed and had to ret it up with a wheel that I knew was true. Minor adjustments but not quiet ready out of the box. Works well when set up, waiting for a new rim and spokes to arrive for my next project.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product for price I am an amateur but passionate home mechanic who weighs a few KGs too many for the wheels I’m riding! I bought this wheel truing stand so that I could true my wheels more often than I’m able to take them into my LBS and I must say, I’m very impressed with it. The construction is very good - the steel is thick gauge and very heavy providing for good stability. For an amateur, the precision of the settings seem to be very accurate and the adjustments allow for controlled and easily configurable changes. I’m sure that professional mechanics may find fault with this tool, but for the money and my application of the tool, it’s ideal. Note, you will need to secure it to a workbench or similar.

If you’re looking for a well made truing stand that’ll last forever but don’t want to pay the premium prices then this is the one for you, providing you’re up for ensuring it’s set up right before you start using it. The one thing i would comment on is similar to what other have said about it not being set up straight out the box. If you’re looking for a truing stand to adjust your own wheels then you should be capable of tweaking the device to get it set up correctly as it’s not difficult. The main arm on mine was off centre by a long way, however if you fold the arm up you unearth two grub screws which hold the arm in place on the bar. All i did was measure the gap on each side and try to get it equal and then you can use the top two screws on the arm to move the caliper section along the slot to get finer adjustment.

Is it possible to center the caliper

Is it possible to center the caliper with a proper tool (something like for example Parktool centering gauge, https://tinyurl.com/yae2spgg)?

Rotor disc compatible? U have an 26er wheel with an alfine 8 gear hub. Will it fit?

Thru axle compatible 12/15mm

Is this stand suitable for use with 12/15mm thru axles for road and MTB?

It would be possible to use this stand with a bolt thru axle but you will need to use an adaptor, Parktool make such an adaptor but this is not something that we stock.

Will this accommodate 150/12 bolt through rear hubs

Im afraid that this only fits Fits hub widths up to 145mmand therefore an spacing of 150mm will not be suitable.
