The demanding terrain intensity of Downhill riding requires thicker, more reliable tubes to handle the abuse of rocks, roots, high-speed drops & berms, which is why the LifeLine DH tube has a Butyl thick wall construction & high-quality valve.
The thicker than normal tube walls combat pinch-flats effectively without much on an increase in weight and these tubes have been rigorously tested for reliability and durability to ensure nothing slows you down.
Lifeline is a manufacturer of cycling parts and accessories. Every product is developed and stringently tested in the UK to meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. We work with the leading factories around the world to bring you proven high performance products.
Buying the Right Innertube
|Which type of valve do I need?|
|High Pressure Valve
|It is important to use the correct valve type for your rim; using undersized valves (for example Presta type on Schrader width holes) can lead to the tearing at the valve hole and puncturing.
|Whats the correct innertube size for my tyre?|
|The best way to check to this is to use the size conversion chart in the downloadable PDF below. There will normally be two size information markings on the sidewall of your tyre. This should be in one of three different size standards. Just choose the size tube that corresponds to the size on the sidewall. For example: a 40/50-559 tube will fit 1.5", 1.75" and 2.0" width, 26" diameter tyres.|
