Why should the grown-ups get all the best kit? The Kid's Full Face Helmet from Kiddimoto is a great introduction to more hardcore adventures off-road.
|Full Face Helmet:||Yes|
Kiddimoto’s first Full Face Helmet for kids might be just the starting point for the littlest riders wanting to be a bit more adventurous outdoors, but it already feels like it’s been around for yours. Made to the same standards that you’d expect from your own full-face protection, these high-tech helmets are made for BMX and MTB, but they’re just as effective and durable for other pursuits such as skateboarding, scootering and rollerblading. Young riders can find their perfect fit with real ease thanks to a back wheel that clicks the helmet into place to keep the robust padding in the right place at all times, while the chin guard is detachable, locking into place when it’s time to ride. The aerodynamic design also gives kids a sense of speed they might not have felt before, so what more could they want from their helmet?
Suitable for ages 4+.
Kiddimoto is a family business based at the foot of Cheddar Gorge in rural Somerset. At Kiddimoto we manufacture very high quality wooden ride on toys. Kiddimoto bikes are available as the fun and sporty Superbike model or the slightly taller and more upright Scrambler. All bikes are available in natural lacquered wood or in a wide range of vivid colours. Kiddimoto have a string of awards, including the Hamley’s ‘One of a Kind’ award, ‘Practical Pre-School’ award, and ‘Right Start’ awards. Kiddimoto have also been remarked upon in a recent OFSTED report (142760) as offering excellent indoor and outdoor activity and development of large muscle skills and good coordination through riding the wooden bike. Kiddimoto is the perfect early introduction to 2 wheels. Kiddimoto do not have pedals or stabilisers, therefore children learn to balance and steer very quickly. At first, they ride with at least one foot firmly on the ground. As confidence develops, they'll begin to lift both feet, scooting forward and balancing and occasionally dabbing a foot to the floor when the bike leans over. Soon, they'll be balancing, learning and playing all at once. The best way to teach a child to cycle is not to use stabilisers, which simply prevent them from developing a proper sense of balance. Get them onto a Kiddimoto as early as possible. All Kiddimotos meet required safety regulations, in particular British Standard EN71. Therefore have the CE mark. The frame, fork, handlebar and saddle are constructed from high-quality birch ply and painted to a very high standard with child-safe paint. Kiddimotos are recommended for children aged 2 years to 5 years.
