Wiggle's Price Match Policy

As part of our Price Promise to our customers, we will match our key competitors’ prices – including voucher type discounts and other promotional offers – for any of our products being delivered into the UK.

There are many companies and individuals trying to sell things online, not all of whom are authorised retailers of the products they sell and in business long term, so we can’t monitor and match everyone.  But we do try to match all of the major retailers you’ve heard of and many of the smaller ones you haven’t.

All of Wiggle’s in stock products destined for delivery within the UK are eligible for a price match. However, the following conditions apply:

  • Only price matches requested and confirmed prior to the order being placed will be accepted. Once an order has been placed, we are unable to accept any price match requests against it
  • The competitor’s product must be identical to that offered at Wiggle (e.g., same size, colour, specification, model year, etc.)
  • The competitor’s product must be in stock at the time of the price matching
  • Delivery costs will be considered when comparing prices and will be based on the assumption the given product alone is being ordered. In other words, Wiggle’s delivery cost (where Wiggle does not offer free delivery) will be added to the Wiggle selling price, and the competitor’s delivery cost will be added to its selling price, before the price comparison is completed.
  • The competitor must deliver to customer's chosen address is essential in order to match the service that Wiggle provides. We cannot match items that are not available for delivery.
  • The competitor’s price must be publicly advertised online and verifiable at the time of the price matching, and cannot include any volume, personal or membership discounts. We cannot match multi-item promotional offers like “buy one get one free”, bulk buying discounts or part exchange discounts.
  • Additional voucher type discounts are accepted, but must be live and visible to all site visitors at the time we conduct the price match. For instance, we will price match against a competitor’s price inclusive of a voucher discount, but only if the voucher is clearly available to all customers at the time we match the price
  • The competitor must sell directly to consumers, e.g., no auction or marketplace sites like eBay or Amazon resellers
  • No other promotional offers or loyalty discounts can be used with a product which is price matched. In other words, discount vouchers cannot be applied to price matched products to receive a further discount
  • Multiple items may be purchased but quantities must be reasonable for personal use or consumption.
  • We're not able to price match Finance or Cycle to Work orders.
  • The competitor’s price must be publicly available to purchase for at least twenty four hours.  We are unable to price match ‘flash sale’ competitor promotions available for less than twenty four hours.  This is so we can verify a competitor’s price at time of matching.
  • We will not match Black Friday/Cyber Monday flash deals.
  • Wiggle reserves the right to decline matches against competitor prices which reasonably appear to be in error or against illegitimate or counterfeit stock. We also reserve the right to cease or modify this Price Match policy at any time.
  • When requesting price match over live chat you will be charged the lower competitor price when paying by card. If you are paying by gift voucher, PayPal or another method, you will be retrospectively refunded by your original payment method, except when you have paid by Sofort, Klarna or iDeal when you will be refunded by voucher.
  • When placing an order for a price match and paying by debit card, the total price of the item will be authorised by your bank. When the team discount the order only the reduced amount will be taken from your account, and authorised funds will be released back to you.
  • Our price match policy only applies to the following countries: UK, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, France, Germany, Spain and Sweden.

What is the Wiggle ‘List Price’?

What is the Wiggle ‘List Price’?

The ‘List Price’ for each product can be found on the Product Details Pages and on the Main Basket, when the product has been added to the basket.


For orders being shipped to the UK, the ‘List Price’ refers to the UK Recommended Retail Price (RRP).

Outside of the UK

For orders being shipped to addresses outside of the UK, ‘List Price’ refers to the base price Wiggle uses to calculate local prices.

It is set by Wiggle based on the UK Recommended Retail Price (RRP) taking into account VAT differences, currency rates, the different costs of doing business outside the UK, and local market conditions. It does not necessarily equate to the local RRP in countries outside of the UK.

Product pricing 

The product prices shown on the website are updated to reflect the delivery destination you have selected. You can change your delivery destination by:

  • updating the settings in the International Options box found on the top right of most pages of the website.
  • or, by updating the delivery country selected on the Basket page - (once you have added at least one item to your basket)

If you are in the Channel Islands please ensure you select ‘Guernsey’ or ‘Jersey’ as your delivery country. If you select UK you will be charge UK VAT. If you are in the Canary Islands please ensure you select ‘Spain – Canary Islands’.


VAT and Taxes

If your order is being shipped to a country where VAT or GST is applicable  then the VAT or GST amount will be included in the product price you see on the product page and in your basket. VAT or GST will not be added separately to your order total later. Selecting to pay by an alternative currency will not impact the rate of VAT you are charged.

For orders shipped to Europe you should not be charged any import duty or sales tax when your order arrives at your local customs as you have already paid this when placing your order with Wiggle.  Orders shipped to the rest of the world may require you to pay import duties or sales taxes when your order arrives at customs.  Please see the international delivery page for more information.

Not all items are eligible for VAT, and the rate of VAT varies by delivery destination.


Will I have to pay a delivery charge for my order?

Delivery charges are added to your order total and are not included in the individual item price.

Delivery charges are dependent on the size and weight of the items in your order, the delivery destination and your chosen delivery method. All costs will be shown on the Basket page and can also be found on the product details page for individual items, by clicking on the ‘Delivery & Returns’ tab.

Most UK orders and some international orders are eligible for free delivery.

VAT Information

VAT Information

Wiggle prices currently include VAT at the UK rate of 20% where applicable. Customers in other countries may have to pay GST or VAT depending on location.

The VAT, GST and sale tax shown in the Basket and in our Checkout is meant as a guide. The final VAT, GST and sales tax amount will be shown on the invoice received.


VAT Refunds on Exports from the EU (Retail Export Scheme)

As a purely internet-based mail-order company, Wiggle is unfortunately not legally eligible to participate in the VAT Retail Export Scheme, which reimburses VAT to customers when they purchase goods for personal export outside of the EU. Wiggle is sorry for the issues that this may cause to its customers and is working on improving the purchasing experience.
