Q1: Will I have to pay anything extra like duties at customs?

No, the price you see at checkout is the final price you pay. All taxes and duties have already been applied to your order. You will not be required to pay import tax or duty when your order arrives at customs.

Q2: Will my delivery take longer than it did pre-Brexit?

During check-out you will see our estimated delivery date for your delivery destination. This is accurate and up to date and should reflect any delays and extra paperwork required post Brexit. If we are informed by the courier that there is a delay from their end, the estimated timeframe on the website will be amended accordingly. We may also contact you via email to let you know of the delay. Further, we might also warn you with an additional banner message if we can foresee further delays so that you have a choice to continue with your order or abandon the purchase.

Q3: Orders below 150 € should not have any duty applied. Is this reflected in the order value total?

Yes, the cost of duties on all orders above or below the low value goods threshold is borne by Wiggle.

Q4: I wanted to order a Trainer, Workstand (any item classified as ‘Bulky’) and the delivery costs seem to be really high despite me hitting the free delivery threshold. Why is that?

Bulky items are usually excluded from standard free delivery. The delivery charge shown at our check-out is what the courier charge Wiggle, so we are not passing any extra costs onto you.

Q5: Will your returns policy change in any way?

No, our returns policy is unchanged. You can use our Returns portal Rebound to send back any unwanted items in your order within 365 days from date of delivery.

  7. Insert the return form in your return package with the items you're returning

Q6: How do you store my data now that the UK doesn’t have to comply to EU data protection rights anymore?

The type of information we collect about you when you place an order or register on our website is stored on our internal systems and our website simply verifies you as a customer of Wiggle. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by visiting your account or emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies, we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information that we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. We will not transfer or sell your information. We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. If you have any questions/comments about privacy, you should contact us by using our contact form. Wiggle Ltd retains customer data for no longer than 24 months after the account becomes inactive. Q7: Do you offer VAT free on BFPO orders?

We are unable to ship orders VAT free in relation to BFPO orders, however if you wish to place an order for qualifying products you can request a refund for the VAT from customer services. Large items including bikes, frames, trainers, bike boxes and workstands can not be sent to BFPO addresses, this is a restriction set by BFPO. Please contact customer services within 3 months of you order date. Please ensure the BFPO address is entered into the fields of the order form in the specific format shown below: -

Q8: Why do you no longer send Haribos in your order?

Due to the new customs regulations we are no longer allowed to ship Haribos to the EU as well as Northern Ireland. We apologise and understand your disappointment.

Q9: Is VAT charged on my order and can I reclaim it?

If your order is under €150 domestic VAT is charged on your order. If your order is over €150 no domestic VAT is charged, Wiggle shipped your order on a “delivered duty paid” basis, any import VAT was paid by Wiggle. For this reason, VAT cannot be reclaimed by the customer.

Q10: What does it mean ‘the customer is the importer of record’?

The importer of record is responsible for the clearance formalities, including import declarations, import duties and taxes. However, in practise Wiggle has instructed the courier who will deliver your order to take ownership of this on your behalf.



What are cookies and how do they work?

A cookie is a text file containing information that can be remembered by a web browser between pages. When an individual uses a web browser to access the internet their browser can create cookies which are stored on the user’s computer. Cookies are not programs and therefore cannot contain viruses or other malicious software. They are purely a string of text and numbers.

Session cookies only last during a single visit. When you close your web browser the session cookie information is automatically removed from your computer.

Persistent cookies are stored by the user's web browser even when the web browser has been closed, so that the next time a user goes back to the website that originally set the cookie, the web site can read information back from the cookie. Persistent cookies have an expiry date which controls when they are automatically deleted. This can be anything from a few minutes to several years, depending on your own browser settings.

The Wiggle website uses session cookies for two purposes:

  1. Two session cookies are set that temporarily store a unique identifier for each visitor to the website. This identifier is a random series of letters and numbers and doesn't contain any personal or identifiable information. It is used to help count the number of visitors to the Wiggle website.
  2. Two cookies are set by the computer systems that run the Wiggle website. These cookies are used as part of the process of sending web pages to the user's web browser and are essential - no website using Microsoft technology will work without these cookies.

Wiggle use persistent cookies for the following purposes:

  1. Google Analytics is a system used by many website to record information about who visits a website. Google set six different cookies with expiry dates ranging from 30 minutes to 2 years. These cookies are used mainly to differentiate between first time visitors to a website and repeat visitors. They also allow us to ensure our website performs as well as possible for our users.The cookies are able to collect an anonymous customer number when a user is logged into the website, allowing our backend systems to ensure accuracy of Google Analytics data and help us ensure website experience remains relevant across devices. They do not contain any personally identifiable information. You can find out more about how Google use cookies at (English only)
  2. Wiggle use their own cookies to remember which items a customer has put into their basket. By using a persistent cookie for this, a customer can close their web browser and come back to the Wiggle website subsequently and still be able to access items that had been put into their shopping basket on a previous visit. This cookie is essential for the functioning of the Wiggle website as without it customers would be unable to place items into the shopping basket. The cookie lasts for 1 year but is cleared once an order has been placed.
  3. Wiggle also use a cookie to remember a user's website preferences such as preferred language, currency and delivery country. The first time a customer visits the Wiggle website they are asked to confirm this information which is then stored in a cookie set to last for 1 year. Without this cookie the customer would have to re-enter their preferences every time they visit the website.
  4. A number of persistent cookies are also set by the computers that run the Wiggle website. These cookies are solely used to record technical information necessary for our web servers to work properly. No personally identifiable information in stored in these cookies.
  5. Wiggle uses cookies to improve the relevancy of ads on Google and other websites; this is called remarketing and can be opted out of through Google’s Ad Settings.

How to delete your browser cookies


  1. Select Tools and then Options to get to your settings.
  2. Click Privacy and then remove individual cookies where it will open another window on your screen.
  3. You can then select to delete individual cookies or all cookies on your browser.
  4. To change your settings for your browser history and cookies, please select Use custom setting for history from the drop down box.
  5. You can then choose your preferences for browser history and cookies by using the tick boxes and the drop down box. Click OK and your settings will save!

Google Chrome

  1. Click the menu button on the right of your address bar and go to History. This will open a new tab to show your settings.
  2. You can then click Clear browsing data.
  3. Tick the boxes that you want to apply and then Clear browsing data to confirm.

Internet Explorer

  1. Select Tools, Internet Options and on the small window you will see the Delete button. Clicking this will bring up the next window.
  2. Tick the options relevant and then Delete. On the previous window from step 1 you can then click OK to apply and close.
  3. You can set your browser to delete history and cookies every time you close your browser by ticking Delete browsing history on the window from step 1.

  2. Choose Safari > Preferences, and then click Privacy.
  3. Click Details.
  4. Select one or more website that stores cookies, and then click Remove or Remove All.
  5. When you finish removing websites, click Done.



We are in unprecedented and very challenging times, and our priority is the health and wellbeing of our colleagues and customers. As an online retailer Wiggle is continuing to operate, and you can still place orders with us, although we have made significant changes to the way that we work to enable us to do this.


We are working hard with our delivery partners to minimise customer impact where possible. 

Our UK delivery partners have put measures in place to ensure the safety of all parties by reducing contact with customers at the final point of delivery;
  • DPD – customers will no longer be required to sign handheld units and instead drivers will sign on their behalf
  • Parcelforce – drivers will sign handheld units with ‘COVID-19’ if customers do not wish to sign
  • Yodel – drivers will ask the customer to use their own pen to sign handheld units whilst the driver holds the scanner
  • Hermes – drivers will leave the parcel on the floor after ringing the bell to avoid handing the parcel to the customer

Wiggle safety measures

All Wiggle staff are working from home where possible. For our warehouse staff, we have introduced new measures to ensure that we minimise risks for colleagues and customers. These measures fully embrace all Government guidance, and include increased hygiene measures, revised shift patterns and minimal team contact.

When you place an order we need to know your name, email address, delivery address, credit or debit card number and the card's expiry date. This allows us to process and fulfil your order and to notify you of the status of your request. We may also ask for your telephone number which enables us to contact you urgently if there is a problem with your order.

Wiggle does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. To better tailor our services to our customers' needs, we use non-identifying and aggregate information to help us make decisions on how to improve Wiggle. We also share this generic information with our advertisers and other interested, reputable parties with whom we have established a formal business relationship. Wiggle may from time to time share your details with third party analytical resources for the purposes of better understanding customer behaviour and performance, website performance, improved ad relevance and any other analytical process to give Wiggle a better understanding of how to develop its offering to its customers. These third parties will be employed solely for the purpose of the aforementioned analytical purposes, and as such Wiggle will ensure that the third party is contractually obliged to use the data only for the analytical purposes set out in the agreement between Wiggle and the third party, and Wiggle will also ensure that the third party is contractually required to maintain a level of security around the shared data, at least as safe as Wiggle itself employs. Failure on the part of the third party to meet its contractual obligations will result in Wiggle recovering the data, and taking all reasonable actions to ensure the third party no longer has access to the shared data. Our commitment to you

We have always set out to be the kind of company that we would want to deal with if we were making an online purchase. Consequently, we take security and customer service very seriously indeed and appreciate the trust placed in us by all of our customers when giving us their card details. Our current security procedures are exemplary and as near impenetrable as existing technology will allow. They are constantly reviewed and updated to take account of any new threats. If you pay for your order at wiggle with a credit or debit card, your card details will be encrypted and saved on our system for future use. This allows us to charge your card for goods as they are despatched, rather than in advance. It also allows us to quickly issue refunds and to speed up the process of despatching any back orders you may be waiting for.

Measures that we take

We have implemented a number of measures to ensure our site and your details are as secure as possible. When you send us your personal information, the link between your PC and our server is encrypted using Industry standard methods - usually referred to as SSL (128 bit encryption). Once your information reaches our server, the card details are further encrypted before being stored on our secure server behind its firewall. Your card number is never stored in any human readable format.Our computers use your card details to take payment automatically. Our employees have no access to any sensitive customer information. If you are still concerned about sharing your card details online we offer further secure methods of payment. What else can I do?

The overwhelming majority of online transactions are completed safely and efficiently. However, there are some things you can do to minimise the chances of fraud. Everyone using the internet should follow the tips below:

  • It is essential that your PC is kept up to date with the latest anti-virus and anti-key-logger software, as the weakest point of any internet transaction is often the users PC.
  • In some instances, Wiggle will contact you via telephone after an order has been placed on the site. You will be requested to confirm details of the order and answer some security questions. This will allow the order to then be processed and despatched promptly to you. Wiggle will never request you to confirm your registered password you use to log into your account.
  • If you receive a suspected fake wiggle e-mail, discover a spoof wiggle website, or if anything raises your suspicions, please contact us, forwarding any suspicious e-mail including the full headers directly.
  • If using a public computer, such as in a library or Internet cafe, always log out when you've finished using wiggle.

Take care of your identity and privacy

Avoid identity theft by using an up to date web browser and blocking bogus emails with a spam filter and always use strong passwords.

Keep your passwords to yourself. Anyone who knows your password can access your account - although they cannot get any details of your credit/debit card. Do not write down your password. When creating a password, use at least 10 characters, a combination of letters and numbers is best. Do not use dictionary words, your name, your partner's name, your e-mail address or other personal information that can be easily obtained. You should change your password frequently. Avoid using the same password for accounts on different websites.

Secure Web Pages

Make sure whenever you are entering any personal details you are using the secure wiggle website. This can be done by checking that https:// is visible in the address bar at the top and also looking out for the padlock.

Fraud Protection at Wiggle

At Wiggle your card data is always transmitted and stored securely. When you place an order on our website it is encrypted using an Extended Validation digital certificate from Verisign. This is the most secure form of digital certificate it is possible to get, and ensures that all the data you enter when you purchase an item cannot be intercepted by any third party. When your order arrives at Wiggle we encrypt your card data using the same industry standard encryption system (AES) used by the US Government.

Your full card details cannot be read by any of our staff - they can only see the last four digits of your card number. Our website is regularly scanned by an accredited scanning company under the Visa/Mastercard PCI-DSS security scheme. They set comprehensive requirements for enhancing payment account data security that facilitate the broad adoption of consistent data security measures on a global basis.

If you still aren't comfortable about entering your card details on our site, you can choose to pay by PayPal or Worldpay. In either case we do not see any of your card details at all as the transaction is handled directly by PayPal or Worldpay - we merely get informed of the result of the payment attempt.

Wiggle is making significant strides in its journey towards a sustainable future. So many of our products are used to enjoy the environment and it’s important for us to do whatever we can to protect it. We are working to reduce our environmental impact and find new and innovative ways of operating. But while progress has been made, we want to go even further.

As we accelerate our plans, we would like to share some of the steps we’ve already taken. We’re also taking this opportunity to shine some light on the latest initiatives taken by our colleagues, and to let you know about just some of the plans that lie ahead.

Wiggle’s 2020 Sustainability Highlights 

  • Packaging:

All cardboard used in our order packing process is made from 100% recyclable material, and by the end of 2020, all cardboard used in our order packaging will be 100% recycled also. We buy all our cardboard from an environmentally aware supplier generating its own biofuel on site. This provides enough natural gas to heat the manufacturing site while also providing 60% of the power needed for the manufacture of the cardboard itself.

Wiggle’s commitment to working within all regulations also means we only use FSC accredited manufacturers.

We are also reviewing our packaging to reduce, where possible, the amount we use. This includes working to remove metal staples from our bike boxes to aid the recycling process.

  • Plastics:

We are removing plastics from our supply chain wherever we can, but the reality is that plastic still remains one of the best ways of protecting your order in storage and transit. Our plastic order bags are now made with 80% recycled material and we are working with suppliers to increase this even further. We also continue to evolve our packaging and aim to reduce our plastic bag use by using cardboard envelopes in the very near future.

While recycled plastics are better for the environment than new plastics, the better option still is to remove plastic altogether. By 2021 we will have eliminated plastic tape from our order boxes, using recyclable paper tape instead. We will also eliminate plastic void filling material from our packaging, replacing it with a 100% recycled and 100% recyclable paper alternative.

  • Emissions:

As a retailer, stock transportation is always going to be an essential part of our service. But we are working to reduce the number of transport journeys we make each year and have already made significant changes to bring this about. By the end of 2021, we will have reduced our transportation by almost 100,000 road miles and we will continue to work with our couriers to find yet more environmentally friendly ways of bringing your order to your door.

Within our head office we have worked hard to reduce our CO2 emissions and reductions of 70% have been achieved over the last three years.

By the end of 2020 all our sites will have electric car-charging facilities installed.

What We're Doing Now

  • Further empowering our working group that regularly reviews our sustainability commitments, objectives, and progress.
  • Complying with or exceed all existing environmental legislation.
  • Adapting ahead of time to new environmental legislation and regulations.
  • Monitor and reviewing all of our current and future energy requirements, looking for the most sustainable solution available.
  • Using recycled materials wherever possible including packaging.
  • Operating a waste management system with a zero to landfill policy and recycling of all recyclable materials through our waste management partners.
  • Measuring and being accountable for our impact on the environment with evermore challenging targets.
  • Including environmental considerations in our purchasing decisions for goods and services.
  • Partnering with our suppliers to support their sustainability plans.
  • Implementing localised and specific development plans.

Even with all these positive and significant steps, we know we can still do more. Sustainability has been placed at the heart of our strategy and planning for the future and, while there is a lot more work to do, we hope you’ll support the efforts Wiggle continues to make. In the meantime, we’ll stay committed to delivering not just for you but for the delicate environment in which the products we’re privileged to provide truly come to life.

Paperless Invoicing

As a conscientious online sports retailer, we know that it’s important to support our environmental goals. As part of our push to operate in a more green and sustainable way, Wiggle has achieved the ISO 14001 certification for environmental management, meaning that we are taking active measures to minimise how we negatively affect the environment with how we operate and adhere to strict criteria when it comes to goals like sustainability and waste management.

As part of this, we have made a conscious effort to reduce the amount of paper and ink that we needlessly use in our warehouse so from 23rd October, we will not be including paper invoices in the majority of our parcels.
