Fend off the elements and grab attention with GripGrab's excellent Windster Hi-Vis Windproof Winter Gloves. Designed for riders who want to be seen and will not be beaten by winter!
The Windster Hi-Vis Windproof Winter Gloves are a fabulously comfortable all-around winter cycling glove combining warmth, flexibility and style. Its breathable, water-repellent and insulating properties make it an excellent glove for both wet and cold conditions.
The Windster Hi-Vis provides a unique fit and feel, due to its box finger construction with the stitching on the outside of the fingers. The palm is made from an artificial suede material, which is durable, yet soft and even waterproof. On the inside, a comfortable lining will grant insulation, with a knitted cuff keeping warmth in and cold out.
The Windster Hi-Vis increases your safety when riding in low light and darkness from urban cityscapes to country lanes. The use of highly reflective design elements raises your profile in the dark, while high visibility fabric pops out in low light. Features such as a sweat wiper and touchscreen compatibility make this the optimal high visibility cycling glove for the winter months. Get the ultimate attention in bike races and safety benefits on training rides.
The DoctorGel™ system has been developed in collaboration with both active athletes and doctors. GripGrab gloves with DoctorGel™ are designed to reduce the feeling of pins and needles in the fingers secondary to compression of the nerves innervating the hand. The symptoms can present as light tingling in the fingers but can progress to more severe numbness and paresthesias. The condition is described in the literature as “Cyclist’s palsy” and the problem arises when a nerve to the hand is compressed between the handlebars and the underlying bone. Both mountain bike and road bike riders, regardless of the level of experience, may suffer temporarily from nerve compression. A prospective clinical study has shown that 70% of long-distance riders experience symptoms related to nerve compression. Doctor Gel has been developed specifically to help combat this nerve compression when riding.
