Gore have given the shorts splash protection on the inner thigh and rear panel to keep you more comfortable when damp terrain and puddles appear before you on the trails. The C5s have a stretch panel on the rear giving them a secure and comfortable fit and this is backed up by adjustable waistband so you can dial in the fit perfectly and make sure the shorts hold firm as you get rowdy. With zipped pockets on each thigh, you've also got some extra space for essentials within easy reach without delving into your backpack.
