Garmin Edge 130 GPS Cycle Computer is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 4 out of 5 by NewMamil from A basic wireless solution I like that it is small and wireless and covers the basic info I want like distance, average and current speed. I find the biggest motivator for me is linking up with the app online so I get a calorie burn for each ride. Also when you go online you'll see your route on a map. Silly money IMO for the basic functions I want and I have no intention of extending it's capabilities because I don't have any interest in the "tech" and internet side of things, so I've paid so much more for a wireless unit than I would have liked, but blokes get stung for price on any "hobby", be it fishing, motorcycling etc. I am sure anyone with an interest in using the full capabilities would give it the top-rating, I just resent having to pay a higher price for more than I want/need.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NatJasM0e from Great GPS for the wife. Easy to use for what the wife wanted. She wanted to record her progress as she starts out to get fitter. Easy to fit to her bike. Easy to remove at end of commute.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MartinIL from Briliant device but poor customer service I was anxious about a first GPS but this tiny Garmin is great. It lets you navigate via a breadcrumb map (like an arrow on a line with turning warnings) and despie being small is clear and easily to see. The computer view is very customisable and fab too. The mounts x2 mean one for both bikes and the interface with the Garmin ap and Strava is great. BUT Wiggle were poor on Customer Service. Very slow to respond, then mislead me about price matching and stock availability and when I told yhem they were lying they just ignored my email. I guess the price of generally lower prices (when in stock) and quick delivery is dont expect any kind of customer service if you raise a question or have any issues. Despite paying £26 over the odds for this device I am happy with it and with Garmin. Wiggle is fine too, subject to the above comments & I suspct I am not alone with these experiences loking at their reviews generally!

Rated 5 out of 5 by BaWBarmy from Small but perfectly formed I purchased this in anticipation of riding a road bike which I had ordered from elsewhere. Unfortunately the bike hasn't arrived yet but I set up the Edge 130 on my hybrid bike. It was very easy using one of the included mounts. I already have a Garmin watch and adding the Edge 130 to my Garmin Connect account was quick and easy as was pairing it with the sensors (Speed and Cadence) that I bought with it. This little unit only has the basics but it does them all brilliantly. It tracks all my rides, there are breadcrumb maps, you can load routes for turn by turn navigation, there are a myriad of data fields to display plus the weather. Uploads to Garmin Connect and Strava are relatively quick. If you want a cheaper bike computer this is it.

Can manual wheel size be eneterd for speed sensor?

The Edge 25 can use a speed sensor but does not have a user interface to set the wheel size when not using the GPS for indoor work such as on a track. Does the Edge 130 have a user interface to set this manually. I know the 25 has a self calibration mode but I cannot use this for a track bike as I cannot take track bike on the road.
Asked by: TheOldTannery
Yes, the wheel size can be set under the sensor details for the BSS (Bike Speed Sensor).

Does this support multiple bikes

Edge 500 supports up to 3 bikes with a separate setup and memory for each. Does this have a similar facility?
Asked by: PompeyRick
In the 130 you only get one activity profile compared to the multiple profiles on the 520 but after your ride you'll have the opportunity to categorise your ride with options including road, mixed surface, mountain and gravel.
