Instant Stroke Feedback

The Tech Toc is made of a plastic capsule, the Tech Toc utilises a ball bearing and acoustic amplifiers in order to create a sound as the device is tipped from side to side. This audible feedback lets swimmers hear and feel hip movements and notify them of proper hip rotation and undulation. Utilizing the hips and core muscles is one of the best ways to create an efficient stroke. The Tech Toc also has a Delay Setting which delays the ball bearing, forcing swimmers to exaggerate hip training.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Maybe club investment rather than an individual's? I got this because I was having difficulty getting consistent rotation on my front crawl. First attempt at using it didn't go well: I tried fixing it to my hips but it didn't stay in place. Second attempt good: fixed around my waist and used during my warm-up. Really good to get instant feedback on the rotation and after a couple of sessions, the job had been done. The only time I use it now is at the end of a session when I am tired (when old/bad habits are likely to 'strike back'). Summary: it did the trick REALLY quickly, but I'm not sure if it'll get long-term regular use. Going to try it with butterfly next! Still glad I got it.
