Aircomfort FlexLite System In order to achieve excellent comfort, a light pack weight while also remaining well ventilated across the back Deuter have developed the Aircomfort FlexLite System. The Deuter Aircomfort back system effectively prevents heat build-up or sweaty backs.

  • Anatomically formed shoulder straps with perforated foam and large-celled 3D AirMesh lining to make them airy.
  • Twin-frame construction gives the Aircomfort Flexlite System its special lightweight properties at the same time as guaranteeing excellent flexibility and ergonomic fit. The secret lies in the combination of complimentary round and flat spring steel frame profiles. It easily follows body movements and transfers the load perfectly to the hip fins. It also gives the back mesh a stable tensioned platform for the patented Deuter 3-sided ventilation system.
  • Load adjustor straps enable exact backpack positioning.
  • Anatomically shaped, sturdy hip fins transfer the load to the hips.
  • Perforated foam and oversized cell 3D AirMesh lining provide additional ventilation.

Hexlite 100 Fabric Extremely lightweight Ripstop Polyamide fabric with textured structure. The 100 version of the fabric is used for ultra lightweight backpacks such as the Spectro series. The reinforcement fibres woven into the fabric increase the tear strength and add stability to this thin fabric. PU coating inside. Deuter Ripstop 210 Fabric Ultra-tight weave, hard wearing 210 Denier Nylon. Recognisable by the very technical, shiny surface incorporating tough Ripstop threads. This lightweight and extremely robust fabric is perfectly suited to the manufacture of lightweight products. Top quality PU coating. This highly technical material is used for lightweight Alpine and Trekking models.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Bag I bought this bag in 2014 for a Lands End to John O'Groats ride, and it served me well. It is still serving me well in 2017 and that is with using it everyday carrying folders and books, or a change of kit etc.. The waterproof cover is very good, there are two mesh side compartments for water bottles, the straps are easy to adjust to optimise comfort, and in my opinion it's a stylish bag. Despite not being a large bag, it has been commented by others that I do fit a large amount of items in it. Overall, it is a great bag and I hope (and suspect) that I've got a few more years of solid use out of it yet!

Can you fit a laptop into this rucksack?

Do you think that it would be possible to fit a laptop sized 36cm*24cm and about 3.5cm deep into this bag? Plan is to use for commute to work, so need to carry laptop along with pump, waterproof jacket, etc.

Saw a bag in real life and was a bit touch and go whether it would or wouldn't fit the laptop. Took the plunge and glad I did - perfect size bag that I can get the work laptop into it (dimensions as original question post) along with jacket, lock (coil not D/U Lock), spare tubes, pump, charger for lights, overshoes, gloves, multi tools and some scram for lunch. Separate compartment will take phone, keys, ipod nano and couple of charger leads + work pass and wallet. It's a bit tight and sometimes I need to open up the expansion zip but all in all the right bag for kit I need day to day.

Does this include a reservoir?

Watched this video on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDdB2SssMW8 The rep on the video mentioned that it comes with a "3L streamer reservoir." No mention of that here..

Is there enough space to hold some shoes, shirt, trousers and lunch box?

While running by the bicycle, it is a very comfortable rucksack. However, compared with the rucksack of the same size, capacity is a few eye.

Do Deuter still make the hydration bladders?

A few years ago I had a Deuter bladder, I've since lost it and trying to find a new one as my Camelbak leaks constantly. I can't seem to find a Deuter bladder anywhere, do they still make them or have they been re-branded?

is this product 3207318 on the Deuter website?

I am confused between 2 of your products, this seems to be product 3207318 from the Deuter website. According to Deuter this is a 14+3 L capacity back pack, as per your website this is both a 12+3 L or a 14 L (depending which side of the page you look at). You also have another Deuter Race Exp Air product that is listed as 14+3 on the drop down menu, and a 30 L (which is surely wrong) on the specs. Could you please clarify? Any chance you can quote the Deuter product number cheers c
