Cateye’s Ampp 400 Front Light comes with a durable matt polycarbonate body that comes with an enhanced scratch resistance. The light’s body also protects the light from adverse weather conditions with an IPX4 water rating which shields the light from water damage.
The light comes with Opticube lens technology which offers supreme light distribution. The lens is also designed to provide a 220% larger side lens than in previous models. This creates a wider beam and enhanced side visibility that can keep you seen from multiple angles which is great for commuters cycling through built-up urban areas.
Easily switch between light modes using the top, illuminated power button – double click for High mode and single click returns you to the previous mode. The light comes with four modes which includes both flashing and constant in a range of outputs and with a range of runtimes. Included is a, specially developed, Daytime HyperConstant mode which will help you stay seen during daylight hours.

Low: 200 lumens – 4 hours
Daytime HyperConstant: 200/400 lumens – 6 hours
Flashing: 200 lumens – 60 hours
The internal lithium-ion battery saves you the time and hassle of having to constantly replace your bike light batteries by being rechargeable via the included charging cable. The light can be fully recharged in 4-8 hours. Letting you know when it’s time to charge the illuminated power button will glow red when the light’s battery is at 20%.
For quick and easy mounting the Ampp 400 comes with a FlexTight mounting brackets that are suitable for bars up to 35mm diameter and selected aero bars. The underside of the light has been specially adapted to ensure a quick release from the FlexTight bracket.
