The Helm Air Suspension Fork from Cane Creek was born in Western North Carolina's wild mountains and is designed to dominate at enduro races and aggressive trail riding.
This 7-way adjustable fork gives you ultimate control over your suspension setup. By allowing you to separately tune the damping and air springs, you can finely tune the Helm to suit the terrain and your riding style. They're also designed to offer rigid and precise handling and excellent durability, thanks to their 35mm stanchions and Cane Creek's "D-Loc" 15mm thru axle system.
In addition to the quality construction, the Helm forks are extremely versatile. In the box there are two travel reducers, should you want to make the forks a little easier to climb with. If you want to reduce the travel even further for XC use, additional travel reducers can be purchased separately to reduce all the way down to 100mm of travel.
D-Loc Axle Assembly: Hard anodised aluminium cam lever closes against a self-lubricating brass clamp washer for axle function longevity. Fast and easy keyed entry axle and lock system. Eliminates unwanted rotational and torsional axle forces
Air Volume Adjustment: Accessory-Free adjustment, 8 levels of volume reduction
Versatile Air Spring: Thoughtfully isolated positive and negative air chambers for ultimate tuning, Internal travel adjustment, 140-170mm possible with items straight out of the box
Cane Creek components have been ridden to numerous wins in world-class events. Professional racing teams that have used Cane Creek components include: Mountain Bike Racing,3D Racing, DEVO, Haro, Honda/Turner, Michal Prokop/Author Racing, Rocky Mountain, Subaru/Fisher, Trek/Volkswagen. Cane Creek started in 1995. Their first product line had brakes, headsets, hubs, and shocks. Their original air-shock design gradually won over a suspension universe that was in thrall to coil shocks. While they have continued to assert their leadership all their product categories, they have expanded into other areas that can benefit from a dose of their "technology that makes sense." In 1999 they acquired the Thudbuster suspension seat post and have since upgraded its patented design to provide what has been called the "ultimate upgrade for hardtails."
