The Brooks England Scape Seat Bag features an 8-litre main holster and a 100% waterproof drybag. And, it's suited to trekking, gravel riding, bikepacking adventures and all-mountain touring.
This touring bag comes with a 100% waterproof dry bag, this means it's suited to riding in all weather conditions for trekking, trail riding and adventure cycling.
Made for gravel and adventure cycling, the Scape Seat Bag is a bikepacking bag made from two separate elements: a holster and a 100% waterproof (IPX4 certified) removable drybag. The holster is built from rugged materials to last, the holster bottom designed to act as a mudguard and protect the internal bag from any rear wheel contact.
The dry bag easily compresses thanks to its air valve release mechanism to minimise bulk and can be rolled smaller when less carrying space is needed. The daisy chain allows attachment of modular bags, and a loop is included to attach a rear light. Made from waterproof material to be prepared for any ride, regardless of conditions.

The Brooks bike saddle story started way back in 1866, a young man of just 19 years of age was said to have bought 'one of those new-fangled velocipedes' which was fitted with a wooden saddle, this proved excruciating. As luck would have it his father made leather saddles for horses, so the young man known as John Boultbee Brooks set to work in his fathers workshop designing and developing a comfortable saddle from leather.

The rest they say is history....

Brooks experience in saddle making goes right back to the beginning - back to the period of solid tyres - and is unequalled by any other house in the world.

That said, they recognise the fact that they cannot rely on their past history alone, so they still build saddles with the same attitude as when they started, 'quality first', both in materials and manufacture. The testament to this is that there are still saddles in active use today, made many many years ago.
