With a sturdy thickness of around 3mm, the untreated leather is ready to hit the hills or spend your summer on the coast and with a flexible lining, the material nestles softly against the skin without causing blisters or irritation. An open-pored, breathable surface also creates a comfortable foot climate, ideal for more strenuous physical activity.
With an original anatomically shaped footbed at the heart of every Birkenstock sandal, comfort is guaranteed. The deep heel cup cradles the heel for natural cushioning while a longitudinal arch support runs along the sides for added stability with each step. In the toe area, the raised toe bar also encourages the natural gripping motion of the feet, making the sandal ideal for prolonged walking.
