Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have equipment ! Great trousers. Breathable and light. They keep you protected from the elements (rain and wind). Easily stored in your backpack. Many openings so you can get some ventilation when needed. Although some say you can fit them without removing your shoes, I would be cautious doing this as you could tear the trousers or damage the inside lining. Shame the trousers do not have any pockets. Use the same size as your hiking trousers as they are designed to fit as over trousers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great waterproof overtrouses Really like these trouses, very comfortable, totally waterproof, totally windproof, easy to fit over boots with the long zips and to top it all they look good! I'm a 34"-36" waist and the Large is a good fit over my jogging bottoms and are long enough to go over my boots, they have a draw string on the side plus they have an elasticated waist. Not an issue for me but there are no pockets, and they make a slight noise when you walk. Can't say how durable they are as I've only had them a few weeks and they do seem to wipe clean when required. Wiggle had the best price I could find at the time.

Please let me know the waist and length for size Large and XL. Also, please confirm if the trouser length is the inseam length or from the waist - thank you. Nicholas

These are a 'regular' leg length (31"). For waist sizing of Berghaus trousers: XS: 25-27" S: 28-30" M: 31-33" L: 34-36" XL: 37-39" XXL: 40-42" XXXL: 43-45"

XS - W 25-27", L - 29" S - W 28-30", L - 30" M - W 31-33", L - 31.5" Unfortunately the manufacturer doesn't list a hip measurement for this product.
