The Bell Youth Spark JR Cycle Helmet is for young mountain bike riders who are exploring where their limits are. A tough in-mould design takes the hard-knocks of dirt riding while the EPS inner absorbs impacts when they bail and hit the ground.
Young mountain bikers will inevitably come off their bike when they're pushing skills and grip levels to new heights. To this end, the Youth Spark JR Helmet is made with a Fusion in-mould technology to ensure they can dust themselves down and keep riding when they do fall. This design features a tough polycarbonate shell bonded directly to the shock-absorbing EPS inner. The result is a tough helmet, equal to the knocks and scrapes of regular mountain bike riding, and one that offers excellent shock-absorbing protection when they find themselves hitting the ground.
Mountain biking can be a sweaty business and nothing is worse than the sting of sweat in the eyes. However, the Sweat Guide padding at the brow draws moisture away from the forehead before discomfort sets in and before it can get into the eyes. Moisture management is also aided by the 13 vents, ensuring a cooler head when ripping around MTB trails.
Getting the right fit is also essential for comfort and safety and here young mountain bikers get the easy to use and precise adjustment of the Ergo fit system. The dial system allows one-handed adjustment, even on the go. Complementing this system are the No-twist tri-glides. These quick-adjust fasteners keep the straps flat and positioned perfectly. Less Fuss. More mountain biking.
From Grand Prix racing through to the Indy 500 to Olympic cycling, Bell helmets have played a vital role in protecting sportsmen and women for nearly 50 years. Bell began as a small auto parts store in a suburb of Los Angeles. Growing under the benevolent leadership of Roy Richter, Bell became a leader in safety equipment for auto racing, motorcycling and then bicycling. His commitment to creating great product through a close connection with the sport, along with his trust of and care for the people who worked for him, turned Bell from a one-man operation into a multi-million dollar enterprise. His legacy lives on today in Bell's commitment to racing, quality and innovation. More world champions have worn Bell cycling Helmets than all other helmet brands combined.
