The durable bib shorts utilise a ripstop, highly abrasion-resistant and breathable dyneRope fabric which is stronger than steel. The impressive dyneRope technology is situated on the outside of the legs to fend of close scrapes and gravel rash should you take a tumble. The shorts are also quick to wick away sweat too, keeping you dry as you pick up speed. Talking of speed, just because these are off-road shorts, streamlined performance hasn't been forgotten. The aeroPatterningFenomeno1 design is lifted from the fastest of their road shorts to optimise fit and airflow.
Comfort is also at a premium thanks to the premium MTB-specific seat insert. Differing from your standard insert, the offroad seat pad is positioned further forward than its road counterparts, taking into account the more forward-shifted weight balance of your MTB position. Fitted with 10mm of memory foam, it adapts to your anatomy and does a brilliant job of soaking up some of the bumps and vibrations from rough terrain.

Assos are one of the world's pioneers and specialists in producing high quality cycling clothes and accessories. They are located in a region of Switzerland that has maintained a long standing tradition in first class textile engineering. In the 1970's, Toni Maier-Moussa, founder and chairman of Assos accidently invented lycra cycling clothing, whilst trying to create the ultimate bicycle. During the wind tunnel tests of the first ever carbon-fibre bike, Toni inadvertently found that lycra downhill ski racing suits had much less drag than the woolen-knitted cycling clothes of the time.
