UVB rays are what are responsible for sunburn and so Ale's Sunselect Arm Warmers target those rays to keep you protected when cycling in sunny weather. Meanwhile, UVA rays aren't filtered as much and so you'll still get a tan when wearing the Sunselect Arm Warmers. Because SunSelect fabric uses a special polyester/polyamide yarn to specifically control UV wavelengths, rather than resorting to chemicals, the effect is long lasting and effective.
