They start with 'Speedy' fabric, a material with an extremely high degree of compression, it encourages increased blood flow to and from the muscles, bringing in oxygen and flushing out waste. The compression also supports the muscles, stabilising micro-movements as you pedal. To achieve a true second-skin fit Ale then tailor the shorts with fewer seams, wrapping the body smoothly for greater comfort and smooth airflow. Bonded leg grippers complete the sleek and comfortable package.
Ale's top of the line “8HF” pad can be found inside the shorts - this utilises an elastic microfibre with memory padding, strategically positioned at the saddle contact points for maximum comfort. In the perineal and ischiatic area, the higher density padding ensures the utmost support against bumps and vibrations. The central relief channel was developed to protect the nerve endings while the lateral shaped wings are flexible to follow the body for complete support and comfort when pedalling, even over the roughest of roads.
