The key to the warmth of the tights is their Windtex softshell construction, this sees a 3-layer design with a durable outer and soft cosy inner sandwiching a completely windproof membrane. Added to this is a water-resistant treatment, shrugging off rain, while the hydrophilic inner retains heat and wicks sweat away remarkably quickly for perfect comfort and temperature regulation. 

Close attention to detail is vital for winter comfort and here Ale doesn't let you down. Flatlock stitching creates a smooth finish and minimises chafing when pedalling, while waterproof and thermotaped cuffs to the lower leg prevent road spray from seeping in. At the heart of the tights is Ale's highly regarded Double Ergo HF chamois. This seat insert has a Bi-component surface in the front and lateral parts in the groin. The high-density 120 kg foam covers the contact point on the saddle (perinea and ischiatic) but it's reduced in the remaining parts to guarantee minimal bulk and to ensure breathability is optimised. Lateral shaped wings follow the body, adapting to body movement to give a chafe-free pedal stroke, in or out of the saddle.
