Doubling up on theft prevention, the innovative steel Abus Bordo Alarm 6000A bike lock comes equipped with a 100-decibel alarm to fend off opportunists as they try to steal your bike.
An excellent addition to Abus' range of reliable, confidence-instilling security systems, this Bordo model does all it can to ensure no one gets away with your ride. The main lock features 5mm-thick steel bars, linked by specially designed rivets to give the flexibility of a chain lock and dependability of a D-lock in the one unit.
Fixing in place with a key-lock Abus Plus cylinder, the system comes with a key card which can be used to cut spare or replacements for added security, with the in-built alarm maximising the safety of your steed. Using 3D Position Detection to react to the smallest nearby movements, the alarm will sound for 20 seconds when the lock is tampered with and will automatically reactivate.
Sensitive to minor and brief vibrations, it gives off a small warning when incidental contact occurs but is smart enough to fend off criminals when they try to break through this fantastic lock.
