Our History

Wiggle started out as Butlers Cycles, a small independent bike shop established in Portsmouth, UK in 1920. In 1999, Butlers Cycles went online with the launch of wiggle.co.uk.

By focusing on providing unmatched value and great customer service, Wiggle rapidly took off in the UK and soon began expanding around the globe. We have now grown to become a global leader in the online retail of equipment for cycling, running and swimming, selling to over 70 countries in 10 languages and 14 currencies.

We occupy over 85,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space and stock over 2 million items!

What will you be doing?

What hours will I work?

Our Customer Service team support Wiggle CRC customers 7 days per week and therefore a rotating shift pattern is operated:

  • Week 1 - 06.00 - 14.30
  • Week 2 - 09.00 - 17.30
  • Week 3 - 13.30 to 22.00.

Our Customer Service team work one in three weekends from 09.00-17.30 with 2 days off midweek when working a weekend shift.

Responsibilities and Duties

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Line managing an Assistant Financial Accountant
  • Project work consisting of the Group’s strategic and regulatory requirements, including the implementation of a customs warehouse, making tax digital, and expansion into a range of territories
  • Preparation of the UK annual financial statements of the Group under IFRS/FRS 101, including the Mapil Topco consolidated accounts and the Mapil Midco 2 non-statutory sub-consolidation

Although you will be required to work in all aspects of the business, this role should have specific understanding of finance processes and Oracle Financial applications would be a benefit.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Works iteratively with stakeholders, to identify potential benefits and available options for consideration, and in defining acceptance tests.
  • Investigates operational needs and problems, and opportunities, contributing to the recommendation of improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes and organisation.
  • Support the development team to write scenarios / user stories / acceptance tests, agree work packages / sprints and produce estimates.
  • Identify any business readiness tasks required to support delivery.
  • Verify and accept the delivered work packages ensuring the development fulfils the business requirements.
  • Provide support to the test team and business teams to complete functional and acceptance testing.
  • Track and report on task progress.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • You will have a good understanding of ERP systems from a finance perspective
  • Specific knowledge and experience of Oracle Cloud Financial applications will be desirable
  • You will have a good understanding of the underlaying finance business process in the areas:
  • Payment Gateway / Cash Management & Treasury
  • Accounts Payable
  • General Ledger
  • Stock Ledger
  • Experience of working within an Agile / Scrum project environment.
  • You will have experience working on multiple projects concurrently and be able to manage the priorities within your workload.
  • IT Fluency – ability to understand interconnectivity and relationships between the tools and system architecture and information architecture of the business.
  • Advanced Excel Skills

WiggleCRC are looking for a customer driven individual to join the Profit Protection Team! This role is perfect for people that are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.

What will I be doing?

The purpose of this role is to support the end to end Lost in Post process from original customer contact all the way through to courier compensation. The role will support and manage Wiggle customer contact and submit group courier claims for both Wiggle and CRC. There are multiple WiggleCRC sites across the UK in which orders are shipped and so this is a busy role.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensuring customer contacts are addressed within the expected CS KPI required timescales.
  • Logging, submitting and chasing couriers for claim repayments.
  • Recording and reporting on Lost in Post levels by country and service to identify concerns. 
  • Working with the Op’s courier management team to address any concerns.
  • Providing support to the group and submit investigations into damaged in transit cases.
  • Identifying any fraudulent claimants and liaising with the fraud team to raise concerns.
  • Continually evolve the Lost in Post process to benefit customer requirements.
  • Provide visibility to the group of reconciliation against what has been lost, claimed and compensated.  Identifying gaps and addressing.

  • The confidence to directly approach internal and external relations, challenge current processes and build foundations for future working.
  • Analytical in reconciliation and willingness to investigate and resolve discrepancies.

What will I be doing?

The Online Marketing Manager is a key role in driving the growth of Wiggle and Chain Reaction Cycles websites across AU & NZ. Working for the top tri sports retailer in Britain, and a major international player, this role will have responsibility for maximising profitability through the growth of sessions, revenue and market share across a variety of online sales promotion channels inhouse, primarily Paid Search and Shopping but also including Organic, Affiliates, and Remarketing.   

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for Australia and New Zealand’s Sales Promotion budget of approx. £1.7m
  • Own traffic, revenue and profit targets for AU and NZ markets, which accounts for approx. 10% of total group revenue
  • Create, own and deliver an online marketing plan and maximise sales and profitability
  • Build and optimise paid search campaigns for WiggleCRC
  • Work with the AU/NZ Site Merchandiser & Marketing Manager to ensure traffic generating opportunities are maximised
  • Regular analysis of campaign performance against targets and report back to the team / wider business
  • Influence content plan to help grow organic traffic
  • Finance management – PO’s, receipting and budget tracking

 

What experience would we like you to have?

  • 1+ year paid search experience
  • Experience in using Online Marketing platforms (such as Google Analytics, Google Adwords)
  • Understanding of how search engines work and interact with websites
  • Some experience of bid management tools is a plus
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Budget management
  • Analytical approach to interpreting and manipulating data
  • Attention to detail in recognising campaign and data accuracy

What will I be doing?

You will be working with data representatives within the Data Hub and alongside key business stakeholders to drive clean & accurate data for the benefit of our customers and entire organisation.

You will support the development and maintenance of our data systems, data quality and data processes.  Covering both changes to the data content and managing the rules for how data content can be created, the impact of an effective data governance approach generates value throughout all levels of the enterprise.  The Data Analyst is a critical role empowered to enforce the data standards and plays a crucial role in making data governance happen for WiggleCRC.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Build, own & maintain the Enterprise Data Management documentation
  • Create, implement and maintain Data Standards in partnership with the business  
  • Investigate and action data queries and functional data requirements
  • Build and maintain reporting suites and dashboards to aid business awareness and progression
  • Identify and capitalise on opportunities to raise data literacy, confidence and awareness across all areas of WiggleCRC
  • Represent data at the PMO, delivering assurance to new programmes/projects/small changes
  • Become the first point of call for change, challenge or potential impact to data
  • Collaborate within the Data Forum to ensure that all data issues/conflicts are resolved
  • Act with integrity and always uphold professional standards

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a fast-paced retail/e commerce environment, ideally in a sports retailer or similar is preferable
  • Experience in data quality and process improvement
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to think logically
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, alongside MS Office is essential
  • Significant experience in extracting and analysing large volumes of data, with the ability to understand the interrelationship of data across systems and platforms. 
  • How to undertake triage, root cause analysis and resolution
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive self-starter and able to work as part of a team, as well as autonomously
